This is a Ceramic Gilded Shell Hemisphere. The inner negative of a shell and the outer cubic shell are poured together seamlessly. Made from approximately a 500+ piece mold. Finished with a patina of minerals and oxides. Inner shell is gilded with 23.75ct gold leaf.
